Banquet Speaker: Well-known contester Tom Taormina, K5RC/W7RN will be addressing the convention at the banquet. The title of Tom's speech will be "Building Your Dream Station, Without Divorce."
Breakfast Speakers: Travelling DXers Rick Smith, KT7G and Jake Otten, N7WO will take us to Belize for their double contest, DX and vacation trip.
If you plan on going to the convention banquet, please place your order by Tuesday, July 29. Following that date, banquet tickets may or may not be available. The hotel has requested we limit changes to the banquet after July 29, so please order by then.
The convention is pleased to welcome Radiosport visitors UA0CA, RW0CN, UA0CDX and RZ0CQ. Say hello to our guests from Khabarovsk at the Saturday banquet and hospitality suite.

2008 Pacific Northwest DX Convention - Aug 1-3, 2008

The WVDXC is proud to host the 53rd annual Pacific Northwest DX Convention to be held August 1-3, 2008 in Portland, OR. Join us for technical sessions, prizes, DXCC card checking, food and fun.
The convention will be held at the Monarch Hotel in SE Portland. Links to the hotel's home page and a map are shown on the left side of this page. The Monarch Hotel has a special rate of $93 per night for convention go'ers. Ask for the "Northwest DX Convention" rate when calling for a reservation. Please Note: This rate is guaranteed until July 1. After that, the rate may or may not be available depending on space available.
